We built the tool for ourselves first.

Everything on this site ran in somebody's driveway before it ran on a screen.
The flat hundred dollars, the twenty mile circle, the line about transmission
rebuilds being the one job that goes elsewhere. None of it is positioning. It
is what the two people who answer this phone already do on a Tuesday.

The photographs are the same. There is no stock library here. The rusted rotor
is a rotor that came off somebody's truck, and the clean one beside it is the
one that went back on the same corner an hour later. The van in the header is
the van.

A site for a mobile mechanic ought to load fast on a phone with one bar,
because the person reading it is standing next to a car that will not start.
That constraint decided most of what is here and most of what is not.
